I've flown in an L-39 twice and let me tell you...the jet isn't pointless and is beyond cool. I'm lucky to run a company that arranges L-39 flights in the US. The cost is just under $3000, which is cheaper than buying your own. James Bond flew one in Tomorrow Never Dies. Would he fly a jet that isn't cool?
