Shocking Guns
Remember those "shocking roulette" type games? Know what laser tag is? Now just imagine the potential of combining the two - which is exactly what these shocking guns do.
The idea is simple. You and a friend (or soon to be ex-friend) grab a gun each and strap on a chest target. You then start taking pot shots at one another in the knowledge that when you hit your opponant they'll get a harmless - but startling shock through the handle of the gun.
The downside of course is that if they hit you first it is you that gets the shock - so best to practice with slow moving elderly relatives (*) and the short-sighted until your shot improves.
* With regards to taking pot shots at the elderly we have been asked to point out that whilst the shocks delivered are harmless it isn't a good idea to shock those with heart conditions.

"Why is it pointless?"
A similar, if more dangerous, game can be had using two tazer guns.
"Why is it cool?"
All the fun of paintball without the problems of removing paint from the lounge walls. All the convenience of laser tag - but with a bit more consequence.
