Smiley Badge Spy Camera
We've all been there - strolling peacefully along the walk of life only to witness an event so infinitely epic in scale that you would do literally anything to defy that grand MC they call Science and go back in time, grab a video camera and record it for the glorious benefit of greater society.
Well, it's not going to happen! Your preparation fail saw to that and now Jeremy Beadle will never share the wonderment of that squirrel running into a window or that small child face-planting into that muddy and quite possibly stagnant puddle. More importantly, you'll never get that £250 cash prize! Science laughs at you!
If only you had a Smiley Badge Spy Camera clipped elegantly to your lapel (or baseball cap if that way inclined). Like some crafty cyclops, concealed in one of the eyes of the badge is a small video camera and microphone ready to secretly record anything & everything you point it towards.
Being in the future, there's no need for tape here. The Smiley Badge Spy Camera records everything to an on-board micro SD memory card (which you'll need to supply yourself) at a half-decent resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 30 frames per second!
"How could this get better?" I hear you ask. Well, you won't need to buy any batteries for one! No, this isn't some form of witch craft - The Smiley Badge Spy Camera already has a rechargable battery on-board, giving a record time of up to around 2 hours on a full charge. Simply plug it into your computer via the included USB cable and sit watch that juice fill up (or do something more constructive whilst the spy camera is recharging).
I think you'll agree this all sounds pretty good, perfect for the budding (or actual) undercover Panorama journalist or just someone who'd like a emoticon for a webcam. But more than this, if you had one of these then maybe you would have had that £250 from Beadle by now.
Think about it...
"Why is it pointless?"
No one has worn a smiley badge since the halcyon days of the 90's rave scene
"Why is it cool?"
You'd be pioneering the return of the smiley badge, simultaniously recording the chronicles of your epic journey
