Wooden Clock

I'll be honest with you, when I can't understand how something works on any level, it scares me. Sure, when I first saw a Magic Eye poster I gave a small yelp, but when I saw one of these in action I ran away screaming like a little Korean school girl playing kiss chase.
However, after my initial terror gave way to awe, I realised how fantastically cool this thing is.
Just look at it! It makes Bang and Olufsen gear look like it's been churned out by an underpaid Eastern European sweat-shop worker who's just won the "Most Apathetic Employee of the Month" award.
There's no discernable display panel so when it's off it appears to simply be a very smooth block of wood, but when it's turned on the glowing yellow digits produce a great effect against the natural wood colour.
Don't try and figure it out though, you'll get brain bubbles or something.
